So how does MohDoh work?

MohDoh helps to treat your children naturally rather than having to rely on more conventional medications that are filled with sugars, preservatives and E numbers, prolonged use of these medications can produce a number of side effects such as skin rashes, lethargy, unexpected bruising or bleeding, liver and kidney damage, anxiety, hypertension, mood swings and obesity.

The practice of using plant extracts to treat various ailments dates back many hundreds of years starting with traditional folk remedies to the more modern practice of Aromatherapy with its highly purified and concentrated essential oils.

In recent times an increasing number of scientific studies are confirming the positive effects of plants on our physiological and psychological well being.

These studies claim that in addition to the beneficial effects of smell on mood and our emotions, essential oils can be shown to have antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties too.

With a few exceptions essential oils are never ingested or applied to the skin in their concentrated form. It is the skill of the Aromatherapist to not only prescribe an appropriate blend of oils but also to ensure that the oils are diluted to safe levels in a complementary medium; most commonly oils for massage, creams or through vaporisation.

As the dough is kneaded, essential oils are not only vaporized and inhaled but also absorbed through the skin. The concentration of oils is carefully controlled to ensure that MohDoh is both safe and effective.
